The fail over systems incorporated into our voip setups give you the following:
- We supply two SIP accounts (Internet voip gateways), so that if one gateway is down the other is automatically used.
- If the Internet goes down the attached analogue phone lines will be used for incoming and outgoing calls until the connection is available.
- If you had complete voip hardware failure (the voip box died), the up to two analogue phone lines can be used on standard analogue hand sets until the hardware is replaced, usually within 24 hours, Australia wide.
The above ensures that there is almost no situation when your company would be left without any form of phone communications.
For support and configuration after delivery you are supplied with Five hours of priority phone support, with a one hour response time, available between 7 AM and 7 PM Monday to Friday not including weekends public holidays. Support outside these times is also available at extra cost.
How It Works
Each office would have a SIP account with one or more numbers at a cost of $9.95 per number per month. Although only one number is supplied, multiple calls can be made and received at any time without the requirement for multiple incoming numbers.
Once all offices are converted to Voip, calls can be forwarded to other offices or any specific phone in the organisation using four digit extensions. Calls to specific extension or all calls can be automatically forwarded to other numbers including mobiles. Voicemail can be accessed externally using passwords and voice mail is also forwarded to email. Night switch can be set to automatically start, but can also be overridden.
If your company was to setup a branch in another country for example theUnited States (US), any call to any fixed line phone anywhere in the US from any of your offices office in Australia is free. Any call from a US office to any Australian office is free, any call from a US office to any Australian fixed line phone in Australia is $0.10 untimed.
Calls to mobiles are $0.27 per minute. Timed calls incur a minimum charge of 1 minute, additional time after the first minute is charged in per second increments.
